US DELLでMediaDirect3に関する重要なパッチが出ているようです。

CyberLink Dell MediaDirect 3 Windowed Mode, Application, Windows Vista 32-bit, Windows Vista 64-bit, Windows XP, Multi Language, Multi System, A00

As of June 1, 2007, a memory leak issue has been identified that affects all MediaDirect 3.0 systems, on both Windows XP and Vista. This results in memory consumption, affecting system performance even if MediaDirect is not used. A patch has been developed that resolves this issue and others. This affects nearly 100% of Dell Inspiron systems (except Inspiron 1501).


1. Fixed memory leak issue with PCMService.exe.
2. Fixed issues with Multimedia buttons.
3. Fixed issue with non functional volume buttom.
4. Fixed office synchronization in embedded mode.

英語弱いのでいまいち理解してないんですが、

• Inspiron 1501以外のMediaDirectを搭載しているパソコンは2007/6/1にメモリーリークが発生する。
• MediaDirectを使用しなくても発生する。

ってことでいいのかなぁ。


因みに、これ5月29日くらいに公開されていたんですが気になっていたんですよ。
で6/1にM1210起動させたんですが、普段と変わりないような感じだし・・・


重要な問題なら日本のデルでも公開されるでしょうから、それまで待ってもいいかもしれませんね。
